Patient Portal – What’s In There?
Here is what patients will see when they log into the patient portal.
Home

Book Appointment
This tab is visible whether your patient is logged in or not but to create an appointment they will need an account with your clinic through emily.

Account Information
This is where your patients will enter their demographic information and credit cards if they are required for booking appointments. They can also update their communication preferences as well.

Medical Information
On their first login to the portal, your patient will see a notification icon on this tab if they have not completed all the fields either by entering information or selecting the box to confirm no entry is required.

eForms
Your patients will see a notification icon with a number representing the number of eForms they have been requested to complete. Once completed, the eForms are then turned into pdf files that cannot be edited but can be downloaded if desired.

B/A Photos
Any photos in emily that you have tagged to share “Externally” will be visible here for all patient portal users, categorized under the tagged service name. This allows you to display your before and after photos to your patients for other procedures they may be interested in having performed in the future.

Invoices
This is a list of patient invoices that can be downloaded if desired.

Memberships
Memberships, if your clinic offers any, are displayed whether your patient is logged in or not however they must have an account to purchase one because it will be linked to their profile. This is so any membership perks are automatically incorporated into any invoice the patient may need to pay.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are displayed whether the patient is logged-in or not. This is so you can sell gift cards to anyone regardless if they are a patient or not. Gift cards are not specifically linked to patients for this reason although they are tracked inside emily.
